Prize Acceptance & Design Rights Agreement

1. Accepting Your Prize

By agreeing to this form, you confirm that you’d like to accept the prize awarded for your design in the Survival Mod: Reclaimed Design Contest. The prize amount depends on your place in the contest (1st or 2nd prize) and has been shared with you in your winner notification email.

If you decide not to agree, you will keep all rights to your design, but no prize will be paid.

2. Transferring Rights to Your Design

Once you accept the prize, you agree that you are transferring all rights, ownership, and interests in your design to Survival Mod. This means:

  • Survival Mod owns the design and can use it anywhere in the world.

  • We can make, sell, promote, and share the design without any additional payment to you.

  • We can modify or adapt the design as needed.

2A. Sharing Your Files and Patterns

As part of this agreement, you agree to share any files, patterns, templates, or technical drawings you created for your design within 14 days or accepting your prize. This includes:

  • Original digital files (such as sketches, renderings, or vector artwork)

  • Any measurements, construction guides, or patterns you developed

  • Notes or instructions that would help us reproduce or adapt the design

We’ll use these materials only in connection with our rights to the design. If you need help sending them, we’re happy to work with you.

3. Your Promises

By agreeing, you promise that:

  • You created the design yourself and own all rights to it.

  • Your design doesn’t copy or misuse anyone else’s work.

  • You have the authority to transfer these rights to Survival Mod.

4. Credit and Portfolio Use

  • We may (but don’t have to) give you public credit when we share or sell the design.

  • You can show the design in your personal portfolio or resume to showcase your work. Just please don’t sell or license it elsewhere without our written permission.

5. Changes to the Design

We may need to change or adapt the design so it works better for our brand or manufacturing process.

6. Confidentiality

If we share any private or behind-the-scenes information with you, you agree not to share it with others.

7. Independent Relationship

Accepting this prize doesn’t create an employment or business partnership. You are an independent creator.

8. Payment and Future Use

The prize payment is the full and final compensation for your design. You won’t receive any royalties or future payments unless we make a separate agreement in writing.

9. Your Gift: A Copy of the Final Bag

If your design is selected for production, you’ll receive one finished version of the bag—on us—as a thank you and recognition of your work. Timing will depend on production, and we’ll keep you updated.

10. Legal Stuff

This agreement follows the laws of Louisiana. If any part of it is found invalid, the rest still applies.

11. Entire Agreement

This is the complete agreement between you and Survival Mod about your design. Anything discussed earlier that isn’t included here doesn’t apply.
